Bright yellow trumpet flowers from spring through fall. Shrub to small tree native to northeastern Mexico and south Texas. Occasionally used ornamentally in Southern Arizona, where it is introduced, thriving in well-drained rocky soils. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies.
