Evergreen legume with delicate fern-like leaves and yellow flower clusters from spring through fall. Native to northeastern Mexico and southern Texas, occasionally grown in Southern Arizona landscapes. Provides habitat and food for native bees and butterflies. Similar morphology to Caesalpinia, with a slightly more tree-like growth form.
