Welcome to Sonoran Starts Nursery!
🌵 Growing the Heart of the Sonoran Desert 🌱
At Sonoran Starts, we’re passionate about the tough, beautiful plants that thrive in Phoenix’s heat, sun, and drought. Specializing in native and desert-adapted trees & shrubs, we grow healthy, resilient young plants for ecological restoration, water-wise landscaping, and anyone who loves the desert’s unique beauty.
From velvet mesquite and palo verde to vibrant chuparosa and desert willow, our plants are rooted in the rhythms of the Sonoran Desert—designed to flourish with less water, support pollinators, and restore our land’s natural balance.
Our first plants will be available for sale in spring 2026 (January–May). Right now, we’re nurturing seedlings started this spring (March–May 2025) for a native habitat restoration project this fall, bringing indigenous plants back to Phoenix’s wild spaces. We’re also sowing new batches specifically for home gardeners and restoration projects.
Why Choose Sonoran Starts?
